When it comes to supporting the business community, there are few names more respected than Sandra Dueck.
Dueck is currently the Policy Analyst with the Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce.
In her role, she is responsible for all of the advocacy work the chamber does as well as developing position papers on-behalf of members to bring forward to all levels of government.
In 2016, Dueck was recognized as the National Employee of the Year for her outstanding work.
It isn’t all work however for the Caledon-native, as Dueck is a mother of three and keeps up an extremely busy family schedule.
She and her husband Jef moved to the city almost 10 years ago to let their children grow in a community that was neither too big or too small and a place that had teams to cheer on and organizations to volunteer with.
If there was one piece of advice, she could pass on to young women aspiring to be leaders of the next generation, it is to always stay true to who you are and have the confidence to speak up and forge your own path.
