One of the major minds behind the free series of concerts is General Manager Tracey Randall.
Randall is a truly Peterborough product, graduating from Crestwood Secondary School and then getting a diploma from Fleming College in the Transportation and Tourism program.
Over the course of her career, she’s worked for Wardair and Unilever, which is an international goods company. Randall was the secretary to the firm’s vice-president of finance and office services manager at Pearson Airport.
In addition, she’s worked and lived all around the world and even held roles connected to the Bejing Summer Olympics in 2008 and the Vancouver Winter Olympics in 2010 where she experienced Sidney Crosby’s ‘golden goal’ in person.
Upon returning to Peterborough fulltime, she got on with Musicfest and has helped raise its profile and has been able to bring in top acts to the Fred Anderson Stage.
Randall is hopeful the upcoming season of Musicfest, which starts on June 29th, is another memorable success.
