The City of Peterborough handed over a cheque worth just over $66,000 to the Peterborough & District United Way Thursday.
The cheque is the total amount raised by Peterborough staff throughout the year through fundraisers. David Goyette, Chair for United Way campaign, is thrilled with the amount raised.
The 2019-20 United Way campaign fundraising goal is $1.75 million.
