A flood warning remains in effect for the portion of the Trent-Severn Waterway within the geographical jurisdiction of Otonabee Conservation.
Despite this, officials do say water levels on the Otonabee River from Lakefield through Peterborough down to Rice Lake are expected to remain steady or slightly improve over the next three days.
That said, Otonabee Conservation advises all area residents and businesses occupying low-lying areas along the shores of the Kawartha Lakes, from the Tri-lakes downstream to Lake Katchewanooka, the Otonabee River, Rice Lake and the Trent River to Hastings to monitor and prepare for flooding.
The flood warning will be updated updated no later than Monday.
