
Members of the OPP’s Peterborough Community Street Crime Unit searched a home in Hiawatha on Monday, and say they seized drugs and a weapon.
Officials say their search led to the recovery of cocaine, Percocet’s, cash, drug paraphernalia and a loaded rifle during the investigation.
Charged are:
40 year old Francesco Vommaro of Montreal:
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-cocaine
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-opioid
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime-over $5000
31 year old Terina Tugwell of Peterborough:
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
- Careless storage of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
- Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
59 year old Catherine Gladwin of Hiawatha First Nation Territory:
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
- Careless storage of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
All three will be in court in June.
