Peterborough County OPP and Peterborough Police joined forces in a drug raid in Lakefield and Peterborough last Thursday.
Searches took place at home on Coyle Street in Lakefield and a Brock Street apartment building, along with a vehicle.
Officials say they recovered a quantity of fentanyl, cocaine, oxycodone, clonazepam, drug paraphernalia, approximately $20,000.00 of cash and the vehicle were seized.
Officers say they also recovered a sawed-off rifle in relation to this investigation.
35 year old Jessie McConkey of Selwyn has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-opioid-two counts
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-cocaine
- Tampering with serial number of a firearm
- Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order-two counts
- Careless storage of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on June 25, 2020.
31 year old Ian Morris of Selwyn Township is charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-opioid-three counts
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
The accused was scheduled to appear for a bail hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on April 24, 2020.
28 year old Tony Morris of Selwyn Township is charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-cocaine-two counts
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-opioid-three counts
- Careless storage of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition
- Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order-two counts
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Tampering with serial number of a firearm

54 year old Lynn Douglas of Peterborough is charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-cocaine
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-opioid-three counts
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on June 25, 2020.
