An OPSEU branch is stepping up to support downtown businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Local 362 has purchased $10,000 in Downtown Money Gift Certificates to distribute to employees.
The union has about 165,000 members across the province, including hundreds locally at offices in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry on Water Street and Trent University.
Downtown money can be bought from the DBIA in $25 and $50 increments.
