Does Stephen Wright need to issue a formal apology? Peterborough’s mayor thinks so.
The Peterborough Examiner reported yesterday Diane Therrien demanded an apology from the Northcrest councillor after it was revealed he went to New Brunswick last month despite non-essential travel being restricted because of COVID-19.
The trip took place from May 14th to the 23rd and Wright says he was looking at how restaurants were bouncing back from being closed.
New Brunswick Premier Blaine Higgs has said an investigation is underway.
