There has been a notable change to the Peterborough radio landscape.
Earlier today, ‘Alternative Rewind freq 90.5’ hit the airwaves.
Regional Manager Rob Mise says this is a station where the music is going to be the star.
Mise adds throughout the day there will not going to be a lot of interruptions which is good for both listeners and advertisers.
As for those who have grown accustomed to the in-depth local news coverage provided by 90.5, Mise insists that won’t change.
Coverage of the Peterborough Petes and Toronto Maple Leafs will continue under the new format.
‘Alternative Rewind freq 90.5’, which is owned and operated by My Broadcasting Corporation, is in the midst of playing 10,000 straight songs.
