Peterborough’s drive-thru COVID-19 testing centre is moving to Eastgate Memorial Park next Monday.
The move comes after higher-than-usual testing numbers over the last week, creating a backlog of traffic near Northcrest Arena. On Tuesday, more than 420 people were tested.
Hours for the testing centre remain 10:00am to 5:30 on weekdays, while it’ll be closed on weekends. You’re reminded that the drive-thru testing centre is intended for people without symptoms. If you’re showing symptoms of COVID-19, you’re encouraged to contact PRHC’s assessment centre.
