The provincial government has announced $75-million is being invested into those in and seeking apprenticeships.
Minister of Labour, Training and Skills Development Monte McNaughton says this cash infusion is the government starting to breathe fresh life into the dated apprenticeship program.
McNaughton says this will help with a lot of costs associated as well.
The government’s also investing over $1-million into covering the living costs of apprentices ineligible for Employment Insurance during their in-class training.
