URIDE has been added to Peterborough Police’s licensed ridesharing services.
CEO Cody Ruberto says at the end of the day, they have the same goals as the police services board.
Ruberto says riders should always feel safe when using their app.
URIDE is available on the Apple and Google Play stores. The other two companies in compliance are: Y-Drive PTBO and Vanbr. Peterborough Police Chief Scott Gilbert says it’s important for rideshare drivers to be licensed which allows police to be confident that our community will be safe when using this type of service.
