The YWCA of Peterborough-Haliburton has announced a new bursary, The Hazel Bursary, for local women.
Executive Director Kim Dolan says applications are open for women who have faced gender-based barriers.
Dolan says applications are due April 19th and will be reviewed without names attached to ensure complete fairness.
The new application asks questions about the dreams women have as well as the obstacles to education they face and related determinants of health. You can learn more about the bursary here.
