The Petes have entered the beer business.
The team announced a partnership with Bobcaygeon Brewing Company to launch the first officially licensed team-branded beer in the OHL, ‘Petes Lager’.
Executive Director, Business Operations, Burton Lee, says any time they can partner with a local business while benefiting their passionate fan base it is a win. He adds that they believe this is a perfect opportunity for beer drinkers and hockey fans to come together to support local business during what has been a challenging year for our community.
President and Co-Founder of Bobcaygeon Brewing Company, Richard Wood, says this process really started to ramp up in the fall.
Petes’ Director, Marketing & Growth, Shelbi Kilcollins, says the timing of this partnership couldn’t be better.
The Petes Lager is now available at the Bobcaygeon Brewing Company store located at 649 The Parkway in Peterborough and Tasos restaurant on 287 George Street North.
Peterborough and Kawartha Beer Stores will start carrying the lager in 4-6 weeks.
