The owner of Who’s Next Barbershop on Hunter Street East has been given two charges for opening in defiance of Reopening Ontario Act.
Inspector Julie Ingram says one of the charges was for staying open, while another was for having no intention to close.
Ingram adds that customers cannot be charged under the Reopening Ontario Act, however they could still be charged.
Peterborough currently has 120 active cases of COVID-19.
