The local YMCA is supporting several community investments announced in the latest federal budget.
President and CEO David Allen says the organization’s thankful for the government’s proposed investment into affordable childcare for local families.
He adds that the the YMCA also supports the proposed extension of the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy and the Canada Emergency Rent Subsidy.
Allen also says the YMCA is interested in being part of the new National Advisory Council.
