The Peterborough Petes have picked up a little more depth on the back end.
With the 45th selection in the 2021 CHL Import Draft on Wednesday, the Petes selected defenceman Adrian Klein.
Klein, a 6’2″, 194 lbs defenceman suited up for the Straubing Tigers of the DEL League for the 2020-21 season.
He represented Germany at the 2021 U18 World Junior Championship, picking up an assist in four games, as alternate captain.
The Petes will kick off their 65th season on Thursday, October 7th on the road against the North Bay Battalion.
