Peterborough County OPP have made an arrest in connection to a theft earlier this week.
Police say Wednesday around 6:00pm, a trailer containing construction equipment was allegedly stolen in Peterborough, before the suspect then was confronted by a homeowner in Selwyn. Reports say he damaged some property at the home before fleeing and stealing gardening equipment at an Otonabee-South Monaghan home.
Just before 10:00pm, 36-year-old Raymond Gould of Selwyn was arrested at a storage facility on Highway 7. He’s facing a slew of charges including theft over $5000 and mischief under $5000.
