A local business owner has stepped up to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society.
‘Sino’s Fight for Cancer’ was held on Wednesday at the Original Spaghetti House Pizzeria on the corner of George and Lansdowne.
All proceeds from daily food sales were donated, plus additional cash donations were made for a chance at raffle prizes.
Restaurant owner Ilir Sino also had his hair cut and donated for the purpose making wigs for cancer patients.
Overall, a total of $3,000 was brought in.
