A video making the rounds on social media has prompted an apology from the MP for Peterborough-Kawartha.
In a Facebook video from March of 2020, before entering politics, Michelle Ferreri can be heard swearing about a comment made on her page.
The video has been viewed nearly 40,000 times.
In response, Ferreri tweeted “as an elected official, I have to be held to a higher standard. I apologize to my constituents and to anyone who took offence to inappropriate language I used in a video circulating online.”
