A pair of new constables have joined the Peterborough Police Service.
Constable Christopher DiClemente and Constable Jeff VanBelleghem recently completed basic training at Ontario Police College and have been officially sworn in, receiving their badges.
Chief Scott Gilbert welcomed to officers earlier today and says he recognizes their commitment to serve and protect our communities.
These new officers were both special constables with the Peterborough Police Service.
