Preparations are continuing ahead of the 30th anniversary of Dr. Roberta Bondar becoming the first Canadian woman in space.
A virtual celebration is planned for January 22nd.
Chair of the Roberta Bondar Foundation, Bonnie Patterson, says the evening should be fun and insightful.
To celebrate this special anniversary, the Foundation is hosting a virtual evening with Dr. Bondar and a host of great Canadian entertainers, leaders and luminaries. Guests include Anne Murray, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Susan Aglukark, Hayley Wickenheiser and David Saint-Jacques.
Tickets are available now through Eventbrite with options for General Admission or a VIP Package with access to an exclusive live Q+A with Dr. Bondar.
