Tuition rates are going up for international students and out-of-province students who want to attend Trent University.
As part of the recently approved budget, new tuition rates were supported: a 3% increase for out-of-province students; an 8% spike for incoming international students.
Domestic tuition fees are frozen for the time being.
In addition to meeting inflationary and staff escalation costs, the school was able to allocate an additional $2.7M dollars to support growth and special projects.
