With the provincial election just weeks away, many throughout the community are looking into how each party’s platform benefits them.
CEO of the United Way of Peterborough and District Jim Russell says their approach is always the same.
Russell says these aren’t issues that are exclusive to those with low income, and hopes that’s something that the parties can see.
Russell says they’re hoping to hold a debate next week between local candidates, and emphasizes that they want it to be focused on the issues at hand, not one another.
