
Hydro One says the damage from this past weekend’s storm in southern Ontario is unlike anything they’ve ever seen.
Hydro One Senior Media Relations Advisor Tiziana Baccega Rosa says damage is still being added up.

Audio PlayerHydro crews from across Ontario, Canada and the US have come to help with recovery efforts, as there’s nearly 500 more crew members assisting. In Peterborough, nearly 100 workers are assisting from Alabama.
Across Ontario there’s still an estimated 150,000 Hydro One customers without power, while Ottawa Hydro is reporting another 70,000 customers experiencing outages. Peterborough currently has roughly 30,000 customers in the dark.
