We are now just a week away from the provincial election, and some last minute endorsements are coming in.
KPR ETFO, which represents about 2000 elementary and occasional teachers, has announced support for two candidates in local ridings.
The Teachers Executive has endorsed New Democrat Jen Deck in Peterborough-Kawartha, and Liberal Jeff Kawzenuk in Northumberland-Peterborough South.
The union has spoken in favour of lowering class sizes, ending hybrid learning and protecting the Kindergarten staffing model.
