Mayoral candidates in Peterborough are about to square off on plans to tackle homelessness.
According to the United Way, the most recent Point-in-Time Count found that 47 people were sleeping rough the night of the survey, which is a 350% increase from the previous count.
The debate is taking place tonight at All Saints’ Anglican Church from 7pm until 9 p.m. and will be open to both in-person and virtual audiences.
