Those who may find it difficult to escape from work to honour Canadian veterans on Remembrance Day are being presented with an alternative.
Little Lake Cemetery and Highland Park Funeral Centre are co-hosting a public sunrise Remembrance Day service at the war memorial in Little Lake Cemetery. The service begins at 7:30 a.m. and will be officiated by Regimental Chaplain Nancy Wilson of the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment.
Little Lake Cemetery president and CEO James Belk says staff will be at the cemetery’s main gates to direct visitors to the veterans section of the cemetery.
