If the greyness of winter has you down, Peterborough Musicfest has provided the perfect antidote.
The annual free summer music festival has announced its first act of the 2023 season in the form of Australia-founded Little River Band, whose catalogue of top 10 hits includes Reminiscing, Help Is On The Way and Lonesome Loser. The quintet will take to the Fred Anderson Stage in Del Crary Park on Wednesday, July 26th.
Musicfest general manager Tracey Randall says Little River Band has been on her radar for quite some time.
Randall says more announcements regarding Musicfest’s 36th season are coming soon.
Meanwhile, Musicfest will host a pre-festival fundraising concert, the details of which will be revealed soon.
