A total of $500 worth of leftover grocery gift cards have been donated to the North Kawartha Food Bank.
The donation was made by Community Care Peterborough’s Apsley office.
Community Development Coordinator Katie Bryck says the generosity of the community enables them and the North Kawartha Food Bank to continue to “Be A Lifeline” for those in need.
Bryck adds they are looking for more volunteers, specifically volunteer drivers to assist clients to and from medical appointments in Apsley, Bancroft and Peterborough.
