It is shaping up to be a milestone year for the Peterborough Dragon Boat Festival.
If the set goal of $205,000.18 is hit, the festival will climb over $4 million since its inception.
Chair Michelle Thornton says passing that mark would be incredible.
Proceeds of the 2023 Festival will allow PRHC to invest in the equipment and technology that makes cancer care possible – like minimally-invasive surgical tools and a second cutting-edge MRI machine while attracting and retaining the best and brightest healthcare professionals.
The festival will be held on June 10th in Del Crary Park. Thornton says in addition to Dragon Boat Races, some highly anticipated features will be returning.
Registration opens March 1st at 12:00 a.m. and can be done at www.ptbodragonboat.ca.
