A generous memorial donation has been made to the Humane Society in honour of a lost loved one.
Gloria Porter-MacDonald made a donation in tribute to her late son, Drew.
Porter-MacDonald described her son, who was an owner/operator in the transportation industry, as a gentle giant who was a kind, loyal, friend and a team player who was always willing to help. She said he also had a great sense of humour, a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for those who risk life and limb for others.
We spoke with Marketing & Communications Coordinator, Kassie Graham, who says Drew was well known to them.
Graham adds that donations like this have a tremendous impact.
With the donation, a dog adoption suite has been named in Drew’s honour and his name will also be displayed on the Donor Wall.
