Peterborough firefighters will be out in numbers March 25th outside Sobeys in west-end Peterborough, collecting donations for Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
The “boot drive” is being held by members of Peterborough firefighters’ Local 169 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside the entrance to the Lansdowne Street West grocery store.
Firefighters have answered Muscular Dystrophy Canada’s call for help for more than 65 years, helping thousands of Canadians affected by neuromuscular disorders access programs, services and supports while raising awareness of the ongoing need.
