Members of the Peterborough Numismatic Society are gearing up for the annual Peterborough Coin Show on April 29th at the Lions’ Community Centre on Burnham Street.
A total of nine dealers will be on hand at the 9:30 am to 3 p.m. show, not only displaying and selling their coins, bills and notes but also doing evaluations of material brought to the show.
Society member and show public director Rick Stankiewicz says the local club has grown in terms of membership in the aftermath of the pandemic.
Audio PlayerCoin collectors, says Stankiewicz, run the gamut in terms of what they focus their attention on.
Audio PlayerStankiewicz encourages anyone who has coins or bills they want to know the value of to come out to the show.
Audio PlayerShow admission is $2 with children under 12 admitted free. For more information on the club, www.facebook.com/PeterboroughCoinClub
