A homicide investigation is underway after the death of a woman in the Wolfe and Aylmer area.
Peterborough Police received a call around 2:30 a.m. for reports of multiple gun shots. Upon arrival officers located a victim who was taken to the Peterborough Regional Health Centre and later pronounced dead.
There will be a large police presence in that area for the investigation. Officers ask you stay away if you do not need to be there.
