Peterborough city councillors have said yes to a change in zoning to make way for an apartment building on Brealey Drive.
The move received final approval at last night’s meeting, with councillors giving the final green light to change zoning for 540 and 550 Brealey Dr. to facilitate the development of a 56-unit apartment building on the property.
The apartment building will be built on an undeveloped area of the property, next to Phase 1 of the development that includes 14 townhouses.
The two proposed buildings will now be connected with a shared entrance and the total number of units has increased from 36 to 56 by reducing the average number of bedrooms per unit.
