Josh Gillam has carved a remarkable path through the world of sports. A beacon of resilience and inspiration, Gillam’s journey from minor hockey to becoming a seasoned coach has left an indelible mark on the athletic landscape.
Gillam’s roots run deep in Peterborough, where he honed his skills in both minor hockey and lacrosse. With a stint in ‘AAA’ minor hockey and a draft call from the OHL’s Peterborough Petes in 2006, Gillam’s talent was undeniable.
However, he followed a different call, embracing NCAA opportunities while donning the jersey of the Peterborough Jr. A Stars for two junior seasons. His commitment extended to lacrosse as well, as he clinched the Minto Cup Championship with the Peterborough Jr. A Lakers in 2006.
His personal encounters with career-threatening injuries fueled his passion to guide fellow athletes and individuals in reclaiming their physical prowess post-injury. His coaching endeavors have culminated in the creation of HybridFHP, a testament to his dedication to rejuvenating both game and life readiness.
