Peterborough’s Pathway of Fame will host its annual induction ceremony this Saturday (September 9th) at Showplace, with markers celebrating the achievements of 11 individuals destined for the Del Crary Park tribute.
The ceremony, which begins at 10 a.m., will induct Jack Doris, Courtney Druce, Sean Eyre, Charlie Gregory, Stephanie and John MacDonald, David McNab, Mike Melnik, Cathy Rowland, Jeannine Taylor and Greg Wells.
Pathway of Fame spokesperson Gord Gibb says it’s important to note that while the Pathway of Fame facilitates the ceremony, it’s the community at large that brings names forward for induction.
Gibb says the Pathway of Fame shines a very deserving light on the considerable contributions of many, both past and present.
Gibb urges residents to nominate anyone they think is deserving of induction.
Prior to the free admission induction ceremony, live music will be performed.
