Peterborough’s Youth Emergency Shelter for Youth and Families is rolling out the welcome mat tomorrow (October 20th) as part of its fundraising commitment to the ongoing United Way campaign.
Shelter fundraising and communications manager Brooke Erickson says Soupstock, which runs from noon to 1:30 p.m., will see visitors provided a bowl of soup and bread as well as the rare opportunity to tour the Brock Street shelter.
Speaking to the lunch fare, Erickson says many are involved.
A donation of $10 per person is being requested but there is a pay-what-you can option.
