Peterborough Mayor Jeff Leal has created a task force on housing and future growth.
Bringing together developers and builders, the task force will help the City attain its provincially mandated target of adding 4,700 new housing units by 2031.
A report is expected back to Mayor Leal with recommendations within six months.
The creation of the task force comes as the City streamlines development application processes to better ensure efficient handling of applications.
