With rifle hunting season for deer opening today, the OPP want everyone to be aware and informed.
For those who want to enjoy a fall walk in the woods, police advise taking precautions. They say to make yourself more visible by wearing bright “Hunter Orange”. If you take your dog with you, consider putting something brightly coloured on them or attaching a bell to their collar.
Rifle hunting for deer hunting, including the use of dogs, runs until the 19th.
