It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Bennett’s Furniture And Mattresses, and that’s great news for hospitals in the three communities the retailer serves.
Bennett’s in Peterborough, Campbellford and Kingston is hosting its first Designer Tree Benefit over three successive evenings, presenting the Peterborough store event December 1st, 6:30 to 9 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the hospital foundations in community.
Ticket holders not only receive a draw ticket for the chance to win one of several designer Christmas trees but will also be treated to live music, food and beverage samples, and a silent auction table
Marlaine Bennett says each of the designer curated trees, which will set up in each store come November 15th, features a specific theme.
The silent auction items, notes Bennett, are substantial.
Bennett says hosting events to benefit the community has long been a focus of the retailer.
Tickets, at $50 each, are on sale at each Bennett’s location. Those who are unable to attend can purchase a $25 ticket, the proceeds of which will also go directly to the hospital foundations involved.
