Visitors to downtown Peterborough can now enjoy the holiday season with free two-hour parking starting today.
This initiative covers all downtown municipal parking spaces, including on-street parking, municipal lots, the King Street Parking Garage, and the Simcoe Parking Garage.
Parking fees voluntarily paid at pay-and-display machines, parking meters, or via the HotSpot App during this period will be donated to Kawartha Food Share, assisting more than 8,900 people monthly through its 36 member agencies.
The free two-hour parking runs until December 31st.
