The doors are getting ready to close for the final time at a popular downtown restaurant.
Owner Peggy Shaughnessy confirmed yesterday the Whistle Stop Café will be shutting down next month.
The location has been running for 15 years and has been a go to spot for poutine lovers with a menu featuring more than 100 different types.
Their last official day will be December 17th.
A post on Whistle Stop’s Facebook page said “Stay tuned for a goodbye party!!”
