One person has died, two people have been transported to hospital after a fatal crash on Highway 7 in the City of Kawartha Lakes this morning.
Officials say that two vehicles crashed head on just after 7:30am.
They say that 21 year old man from Manilla was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 22 year old man from Sunderland was airlifted to a Toronto area Trauma Center with life threatening injuries.
The other driver, a 44 year old man from Oshawa was transported to a local hospital.
Highway 7 in the area of the crash site has since re-opened to traffic.
