With only a dozen games to go for the Petes, and 10 points back of a playoff spot, they were looking for two big points against the Erie Otters.
While the Petes had dropped their last three games, which included a pair of games in Northern Ontario, the Otters dropped their last game against Kingston.
The Otters have also been dealing with goaltending issues all season long, and called upon Ethan Fraser of the Lindsay Muskies to tend goal Thursday night.
