After pulling out a win over the Frontenacs at home on Wednesday night, the Petes boarded the bus on Friday night to face their Eastern Division foes once again.
That home ice win helped keep the Petes playoff hopes alive, and with the help of the Ottawa 67’s on Thursday night, were able to stay 8 points back of the Colts for the final playoff spot.
A win, and the Petes would be able to move closer to the Barrie Colts heels, a loss with 4 games to go in the regular season, it made their trip to the post season nearly impossible.
