It was a successful fundraising campaign for the United Way of Peterborough & District.
A celebration ceremony was held at The Venue last night and the amount of money raised was revealed, with over $1.4 million being raised.
CEO Jim Russell says he is very proud of this year’s results.
Campaign Chair Hendry says it really was amazing to see how many different people stepped up, including area workers.
Russell says being able to bring in that type of money in a very trying time is once again a reminder of how much Peterborough really steps up when it’s needed.
