Parks Canada will be conducting annual maintenance on three Peterborough bridges this week, leading to temporary closures to all traffic while the work is underway.
The Maria Street bridge will be closed today from 9 am to 2:30 pm, followed by the Parkhill Road East swing bridge on Wednesday, and the McFarlane Street bridge on Thursday, both during the same hours.
Detour routes will be posted to guide traffic during the closures.
Residents are advised to plan their routes accordingly during these maintenance periods.
