A simple question – Who’s going to be farming? – is key to our future wellbeing.
That’s the word from Pat Learmonth, founder and director of Farms at Work, and the chair of the Greater Peterborough Area Agricultural Advisory Committee.
At a 2020 Peterborough Agricultural Roundtable event that brought together farmers from across this region, one of the identified areas of concern was around farm succession and the declining evolution of new farmers.
